Summer at the cabin is idyllic. Enjoy a swim off the dock in the spring fed lake. Picnic outdoors or go for a hike. Take the canoe for a silent paddle and have a small campfire in the pit. When you are ready to experience our beautiful Northern Ontario Wilderness, but have most of the comforts of home, we are ready to welcome you. World famous Algonquin Park is a short hike away and wildlife is often spotted. Peace and quiet are yours in our tiny cabin perched on the edge of our private lake.

Nestled amongst the trees on our 52 acre farm in beautiful Chisholm township is our Chickadee Pod. Recharge your nature batteries in our off grid pod that comes fully equipped for your basic needs and right on Wasi Lake. Steps away you can enjoy canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Take in the sunsets, walk the trails, nap in the hammock, roast some marshmallows, paint a picture, read a book, listen to the birds, the trees, the wind. Leave connected, peaceful and rejuvenated.

Guest Cottage Retreat in Callander Bay

The Guest Cottage Retreat in Callander Bay is beautiful year round. Super location for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. There is a canoe, and two single person kayaks to use on site. There are many hiking and walking trails in and around Callander and North Bay. Great area for cycling with cycling lanes on the highway a few minutes away. We are on site, should you need anything. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This cabin is available all winter. Lots of trails on the property and many more longer trails nearby for the outdoor enthusiasts! Ideal for atvers, snowmobilers, snowshoers, hikers, etc. Just bring your bedding and groceries. My chickens are working hard to make sure there are fresh eggs available for your stay. Great News! I have just completed building a separate shower house with walk in shower and vanity.
