Nearby multiple wilderness areas, superb mountain stream fishing, small lake fishing, swimming area & beach, wildlife management areas & miles of trails offer tons of natural amenities and outdoor opportunities.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

The Starlite at Ruakh is a private luxury geodesic dome tucked along the edge of the woods on our 87-acre farm in Tazewell County, Virginia. Quiet but located on a working farm with chickens, cows and fruit trees. You may see us tending to the farm or animals.. please remember that emergencies do happen, and sometimes you’ll see us multiple times a day and sometimes not at all! We live on the property so if you’re looking for something stand alone, and secluded where you won’t see anyone this isn’t the place for you, we do try to give you as much space as farm life allows. Please park on the gravels only and not the grass.

The Berry Cabin

The Berry Cabin--a brand new vacation retreat located at the entrance of Hungry Mother State Park. Underneath new German chink siding are the original logs from the 30s—built in the same fashion as the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) cabins that still exist in the park. Hungry Mother State Park is one of the six original CCC parks that opened in 1936. Come relax with the whole family and enjoy the coziness and the quirks of this 90 year old cabin!

A Bit of Heaven Rental:Cove Suite Warrior Trail

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by Mountains and conveniently located, direct access to Warrior Trailhead and High Rocks. Enjoy Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. This can be purchased with the main house or as a stand alone unit. If purchased together the price will be reduced to $40 a night. Guest will have entire space to themselves.

Valley View Cabin

You will relax and reconnect in this beautiful valley nestled in the Southwest Virginia mountains. Sit on the porch and soak up those mountain views. Relax in the hot tub and count the stars. Reconnect with your spouse as you unplug from the hustle and bustle. Rest, laugh, enjoy! The cabin is located on a working family farm. You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.

Journey Cabin @ Clinch River Farms

Overlooking the Clinch River is our special cabin on the farm. It is so peaceful that we have named it Journey. This facility is TOTALLY OFF THE GRID since it is located between the Clinch River and the N&W Railroad with no access to public utilities although you may use all of the amenities in the Cabin!
