High above the plains of Lucca, in the tiny village of Gignano di Brancoli, you find this former part of a small monastery. Cozy small and very old house, renewed around year 2000. The house is serviced by English speaking neighbors. They help you with whatever you need. No wifi, free parking 200 m from house (often busy, so sometimes you must walk a bit more). No public transport except school bus. If you bring your own bedsheets & towels, we will refund you 15€ of the cleaning fee.

Situated on the first floor of Palazzo Pfanner, a charming baroque Palazzo and building of historical interest in the centre of the town of Lucca, the apartment recreates perfectly the atmosphere of the antique noble residences for visitors who wish to try this unique experience. A Big Dream in a Little Tower.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.
