The Tranquil Tipi

As you park in our field you will see a door in the woods . When you open the door you see a trail leading down through the woods . As you work your way down the trail you will start to see the Tranquil Tipi come into view . It will be like it is sitting there waiting on you, inviting you to come on inside and relax. When you are ready to explore you can go back outside and roast a marshmallow or wander further down the trail and relax in the hot tub or float in the pool. Just relax and enjoy.

Relax in our rustic cottage get away, located 4 miles outside of Farmington. This cozy guest house has a quaint patio with a fire-pit, gas grill, and outdoor dining for your enjoyment. Come check out our nearby 9 State parks, a short drive to Wine Country, Historic Downtown Farmington, hiking, swimming at the waterpark, golfing, whitewater kayaking and mountain biking, or ATV trails. We want you to make memories with family, have a romantic weekend, or time with friends at the Dove's Nest.

Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

Enjoy all this country cottage has to offer, nestled in the quiet country side just east of Bonne Terre you will find all that nature has to offer. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch while enjoying the fresh air and serene surroundings.
