Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nine foot, coffered ceilings make this place very airy with big windows in living room and bedroom. The futon couch folds down to make a double bed, with a queen bed in bedroom. The bathroom has safety features, grab-bars in the shower that doubles for a shelf & at the toilet that holds toilet paper. Fully equipped kitchen & multiple sets of towels & linens. Great for long term stays. Ground level entrance with small step onto covered porch.

Little House on the Quarry

We’d like to invite you to the “Little House on the Quarry.” We purchased this old rock quarry and it hasn’t been mined since 1968. The water is crystal clear blue and up to 75ft deep. It has rock walls up to 100ft high. The camping is completely secluded with breathtaking views and an outdoor shower. There is a walking trail that leads to another lookout with a rose garden. This isn’t like anything you’ll find in GA. Access to the quarry/water is available for an additional fee upon arrival.

Enjoy fishing or sunbathing on the dock, camping, bird watching, and all the beauty of this natural, undisturbed setting. Solar-powered water well and propane water heater for showers in the outhouse. Fire pit & firewood available on site. Limited solar power. *We are currently making improvements to our dock area.*
