Podere Poderuzzo er en gammel toscansk gård, som ligger i Mugello området 22 km nord for Firenze. Jeg bor her selv sammen med min kæreste Giovanni og vores hund Mimmo. Huset er stort – omkring 400m2, så vi har nogle værelser som vi udlejer: to dobbeltværelser begge med privat badeværelse, samt en familiesuite med to værelser og privat badeværelse. Derudover er der en fælles opholdsstue med fjernsyn og wifi til rådighed. Morgenmaden serveres enten i haven eller i den nedlagte stald. Efter aftale kan der også arrangeres frokost og aftensmad. Der findes også et lille galleri med værker af lokale kunstnere. Der er en stor have til huset, samt en lille sø, hvor man kan bade. Der går både bus og tog til Firenze fra Campomigliaio, som er den nærmeste landsby 500m fra huset. Her findes der også en lille købmand. Der findes mange forskellige aktiviteter i området: Søen Bilancino, hvor man kan bade, windsurfe eller sejle i kajak. En af Toscanas bedste golfbaner ligger 6 km. fra huset. Mugellobanen, hvor der bl.a afholdes MotoGP og hvor Ferrari prøvekører deres biler ligger i Scarperia 6 km fra huset. Og derudover er jeg selvfølgelig behjælpelig med gode tips om lokalsamfundet og Firenze, hvor jeg også har boet i en del år. We are in the Florentine Chianti area, ideal to make delicious food and wine tours and discover ancient local traditions. Our B&B is also recommended for a cultural holiday. It can in fact be used as a strategic base for visiting all the most famous Tuscan cities of art. Florence is around the corner but Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo and many other small medieval villages can also be reached in less than an hour. Finally, those who love nature and silence will find a real paradise to make wonderful walks on foot or on horseback, as well as mountain biking. In the immediate proximity lies the protected natural area of ??Sant'Antonio Forest and in about one hour you can reach the famous Poppi Zoo, a delight for the children but for the parents as well.
