Situated in a gated estate with a deep-water boat ramp, great beach access with picnic areas, a tennis court, a bird sanctuary, historical sites, bush and farm walks. Gaze at the stars at night or the brilliant view down the harbour. Bring your boat and experience the Kaipara Harbour. Kaiwaka, the little town of lights, has great cafes but is also perfectly situated only 15 minutes from Mangawhai with the surf beaches.

Cabin with beautiful views

Take a break and enjoy the peace and beauty of the Waipu hills. The cabin is located well away from the main house with it's own carport. It has a kitchenette with fridge, hotplates, microwave and a small oven . The spacious deck is prefect for outdoor dining. Relax and enjoy the rural views or head out and explore the area. Waipu township just 10 mins away. Waipu Cove and Uretiti beaches 15-20 mins. Waipu Caves and Piroa Fall are definitely worth a visit too.

organic farm, beautiful setting on harbour.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Mānuka Valley Farm

Welcome to our homemade paradise! Start your morning with tea by the babbling stream, followed by a stroll through the mini forest to visit the animals. While our house and neighbours are nearby, this space is tucked away for a quiet, intimate feel. A short walk to the village, and many tourist locations under an hour away. The highlight? Sharing a bottle of wine in our secluded double baths—the ultimate private retreat under the stars.

Mangawhai Retreat - 35 degree heated pool

Only 7-10 minutes from both Mangawhai Heads surf beach & the Mangawhai Village, cafes, vineyards, bush walks and coastal tracks. Our home is perfectly set up for families. 2 bedrooms have king beds, 1 bedroom has bunks (Queen below & single above) & 1 rumpus (converted garage) has bunks (2 x single). Our home is modern, compact and functional. Dogs allowed with prior approval- pet bond required. 1 dog max.

Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
