Best spot in Whangamata: 1950's beachfront bach

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Minutes to the local shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to the nearest convenience store. A great children's playground can be found at Island View Reserve at the end of the road.

Amazing water views from a newly built self-contained holiday home on Robinson Road Estuary, Whitianga. The 2 Bedroom option can comfortably cater to up to 4 Adults. Guest facilities are located at ground level. The main bedroom has garden/backyard views. The lounge & dining area, water views. The 2 bedrooms and downstairs area of the house is for your use only, you will have sole use to enter the front and rear sliding doors. There is secured off-street, backyard parking for cars and boats.

Get back to basics with this beautifully renovated cottage (58sqm) with 2 bedrooms and kitchen. A separate shower room/laundry and toilet adds to the charm to this true kiwi Bach. Just 10mins up the coast from Thames township. When the tide is in, enjoy swimming or a gentle kayak; or bring your own fishing rods and cast off the beach. Great position to explore the Thames/Coromandel West Coast or simply sit back and relax with a good book and enjoy the magnificent west coast sunsets.

The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed with view of Tikapa Moana and the Coromandel. A great little kitchen with oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need. No TV, but great WiFi available. The price has recently increased but I didn’t increase my amount.

Taid View sits on the Wyuna Bay peninsula with water views on both sides. 4km from Coromandel town which is a healthy walk (if fit!) or a 5 minute drive. Fully fitted kitchen, BBQ, kayaks, games, books and music system to make your stay memorable. There is a cot available at $60 for the stay, infants are charged at additional guest rate if a bed is required.

The Bach sits within 1 minute walk of a beautiful white sand swimming beach at Rings Beach on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsular. North facing deck absorbs the 180 degree sea views. Private, quiet with cafés and restaurants 5 to 10 mins away. Please note this is a self clean house and you must bring all your linen ( pillows provided ) There is no cleaner and we ask all guests to leave the property clean and tidy like they found it. Beautiful, modern house with expansive ocean views. Watch the sun rise, the moon rise and the magical rose coloured sunsets that reflect off of the south cliff face. Located directly in front of the council reserve and sand dunes. Set on a quiet cul de sac and toasty warm with a large heat pump for winter and outdoor shower in summer. Swim in the sea and then have a wine on one of the large deck spaces. So much to offer from this beachfront property.

Beach Front Wyuna Bay, Coromandel Town Apartment

Only a short drive from Coromandel Town, which is bustling with cafes, pubs, shops and amenities. It has amazing views , the ocean is literally at your doorstop, it's super quiet, the boat ramp is a few metres down the road, handy to great fishing spots - mussel farms are only a short boat ride, safe harbour for water activities - kayaks available free for your use, but life-jackets are not supplied and need to worn at all times.
