FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Stylish tropical detached villa opposite the palm fringed beach and a short stroll to the laid back village of Mission Beach with a great choice of restaurants bars and galleries. A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. The house is situated close to the CBD of Ingham and Railway station. The Herbert River district is sugar cane growing district, so therefore sugar trains run 24/7 from mid June to end November so could be a little nosy. The house has two bedrooms, each with air-conditioning. Main bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd room has 2 king single beds. Kitchen and lounge is open set, with a double fold out lounge. Laundry is down stairs, yard is fully fenced. We are pet friendly.
