The Old Barn, Motcombe

The Old Barn is at the far end of a long wing of a lovely family farmhouse just outside a rural village in the stunning landscape of North Dorset. Its amazing views look over Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire. The Old Barn is a very large studio space 12m x 4.5m with a king size bed, an additional double bedroom is available by prior & separate arrangement, the ensuite bath & shower is between the two rooms. Pretty thatched, historic Cottage in an ANOB area

The cottage is a lovely grade II, listed, historic, thatched cottage. It's in a conservation area which is also in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are lots of great local country walks. It’s also a central base to visit all that Dorset has to offer; from beaches and beauty spots to country towns. The Crown pub is in the centre of the village, only 5 minutes walk away. Our Sports and Social Club has a a bar and play equipment. It is on the left at the north end of the village

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.
