The Woodlander

Come spend some time relaxing in this peaceful cabin... a wood stove and a coffee pot, comfortable space to hang out and a mountain view to watch the sunrise and the weather play across. An ideal place to call home for a short getaway or a long awaited stay in Alaska. Close to town and the Kenai River but private and quiet, surrounded by trees and nature. Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. Sleeps 4 with 2 twin beds in loft & 1 in queen in main living area. This Waterfront Cabin offers magnificent views of Cook Inlet, Twin Glaciers, Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, Mt. Augustine, and Mt. Spurr, (all 4 are active volcanoes) The Waterfront Cabin has an abundance of wildlife including Moose, Eagles, Beluga whales (seasonal), an occasional Bear and more. There is Large yard, picnic table and fire-pit to share. The Waterfront Cabin is ten minutes from downtown Kenai and the Kenai River.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Cabin Get-away in Homer

Our cabin is the perfect place to get-away to beautiful Homer, AK. Located centrally between town and Homer’s XC ski trail network at Ohlson Mtn. It is an authentic heavy timber hunting cabin that has been modernized to be warm & comfortable with a full kitchen and bath as well as a loft bedroom with a view of Kachemak Bay. It is private but located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you may need.

Make some memories at this unique open one bedroom and family-friendly place. This sweet two story, 750 sf cabin has a panoramic view of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountain Range and out to the Homer Spit.The Upstairs is ONE large bedroom with one queen bed and two twin beds that can be put together to be one large bed. The property has two decks which face the bay, so there is always a spot to sit and enjoy the tranquil views.

You’ll love my place because of the hand-hewn dove tailed logs, wild mushroom foraging, and privacy close to town.
