This great property is centred in the seaside town and is the largest of the two cottages that we host. Free parking on the doorstep. 30 second walk to stunning curved beach, promenade, off shore sculpture and links golf course. Walking distance to local amenities and church point where dolphins are sighted. From here you can explore the rest of this heritage coastline. Newcastle’s city centre is less than 30 mins drive. Alnwick castle(filming location for Harry Potter)is a 45 min drive in land.

Seahorse Cottage - Newbiggin by the Sea

Seahorse Cottage is a cozy cottage in the heart of Newbiggin by the Sea’s high street and conservation area, just 100 metres from the picturesque beach and promenade. Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Surrounded by cafes and a few restaurants. We have a working yard and stables behind us with some beautiful horses. The Cottage is furnished throughout to a high standard having been fully renovated and lovingly maintained. It has a lovely deck area at the rear.

Tucked away in the heart of Preston village, Stanley cottage is detached and set out on one level. Preston village lies 1.1 mile inland from the beautiful Tynemouth longsands, between Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. Only a mile to a metro station giving access to the cities of Newcastle, Gateshead etc. The south facing high walled garden has a wood fired hot tub for all 5 guests to unwind and relax. The cottage is on a working farm within easy reach of Morpeth, a busy market town 5 miles south. The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Sunrise Cottage is a modern and stylish 2 bedroom home. It can accomodate a family of 4 or 2 couples. There are 2 free parking bays available. There are 2 toilets and there is a washing machine. It is situated on the main road into the town. The stairs are steep and the bath/shower is deep so the property would not be recommended for anyone with mobility issues. No stagg or hen parties, no smoking and no pets.
