Relax and unwind in our spacious guest house. Step out of the door onto the beautiful full size, in- ground pool deck, open late May to early September. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook a full meal or just a quick snack. About 3 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park for hiking, swimming or boating with Mountain View's. We have parking for your boat on the property. We live in a log home on the property and are usually available by text or in person. Easy access to I-81.

For many years, the property was owned by a local sign maker and this separate building was where he created his signs. Some of his creations are displayed on the exterior. The interior has been completely remodeled.

Payne Manor Guest House

Quiet, clean, cozy and peaceful! Great place to rest on the way to & from the beach! Near the Andy Griffith Parkway Mt Airy, NC ( AKA Mayberry) the Blue Ridge Parkway, Fancy Gap and Hillsville Flea Market! There’s a great place for Breakfast at the Cana Country Store across the street or go a little further and enjoy Rooster’s (my favorite) Cracker Barrel, or Waffle House in Mt Airy!
