I want to welcome people and their dogs to our home in the village of Rowlands Gill just 8 miles from the centre of Newcastle. I have 2 bright, spacious bedrooms with 2 shower rooms. A complimentary continental breakfast is available in the second bedroom. This room has huge windows looking onto our wood. There are no curtains but it isn’t overlooked. Modern 3 storey home. Guests have sole use of the rooms on the top floor-comprising lounge with two two seater reclining sofas, TV, Music/DVD players. Bathroom (bath +shower) and w/c, bedroom with a double and a single bed, wardrobe and set of drawers. Guests may use WC, all kitchen facilities and the dining room on the ground floor. Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland are each only about 6 miles away. My house is in a quiet cul de sac and the rear garden backs onto the Coast-coast cycle track

Park View Jesmond (en-suite).

Quiet bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower in award winning designer home, 7 mins walk to Jesmond Metro (3 stops to Central Station and about 25 mins to the Airport). Near the Great North Run start, and about 20 mins walk into town. In the centre of trendy Jesmond, it's a red brick lodge, totally rebuilt in 2016, with a super insulated, modern interior. We also have 2 other rooms, search"Garden View" and "Peace & Quiet". Breakfast (muesli, fruit, toast etc) is included up to 10.00am.

Holehouse bunkhouse is situated in Eastgate Weardale in an Area of outstanding national beauty. The bunkhouse has 3 bedrooms with 4 bunks and one pull out bed in each, with 1 bathroom for each room. The communal kitchen has a washing machine, cooking facilities and fridge freezer. The bunkhouse is situated on the Weardale way with the footpath passing through the farm. The C2C cycle route also passes very close by. 2 stables are also available with grazing facilities.

The Coach House - double room, lounge & fireplace

Lovely farmhouse location a short walk from the charming village of Lanchester, full of interesting places to explore and eat. Close to Durham city and University, dales and coast. Bus stop at door and next to cycling and walking routes. Uber taxi service operates here too. A huge garden to enjoy and off road parking. The room is en-suite, a double or twin with private lounge. Guests need to climb a spiral staircase. Hens in garden. Continental breakfast included.

Help is on hand with Steve and Cocker Spaniel Kes. There’s homemade organic breads, rare-breed (even Roman!) eggs and advice on walking, cycling, or casting a fly for salmon and wild trout.
