You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. After completing a full renovation on the 2nd floor of the Jones Building, we are excited to offer you 4 industrial style suites in Metropolis, IL. Constructed in 1908, the Jones building was a former office complex. The old stairs have seen a lot of traffic leading to everything from a dentist office, insurance agency and a 3rd generation law firm. Just to name a few. This space has been revitalized and allowed to thrive again. “The Jones” is ready to welcome you to the home of Superman!

Round Pond Lodging - Eagle's Nest

This cabin is just part of our business which is called Round Pond Lodging, where we offer deer and turkey hunts during the season. Another plus to our property is that we are just minutes away from the Shawnee National Forest, Ohio River, Harrah's Casino, and Paducah KY home of the AQS Quilt Show. Every property we have offers a view of the quiet, beautiful, scenery that we call home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Dee’s Downstairs Private Apartment

1 bedroom with a Queen size bed and a twin rollaway bed. This space is a private apartment in the basement of my home with separate entrance. Sole access to the living room, 1 bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, game area with foosball and ping pong tables, and kitchenette. Located on 1 acre, so it’s private, but still in town. 5 miles to downtown and 3 miles to mall area. Please note that since this listing is in my personal family home, I will only host those with positive reviews.

The Farm on Deer Run

Come to Southern Illinois and enjoy a genuine country experience. Located a half mile down a red gravel road the country farm house is only 15 minutes from Paducah, KY or 10 minutes to the Shawnee National Forest or Fort Massac State Park. The farmhouse sits on 40 acres and is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen and two sitting rooms. The yard is large and shaded. After a fun Day can enjoy the evening with food off the grill or roasting hot dogs and marshmallows on a camp fire.

Stay for a weekend or stay for a week. Close to Baptist Hospital, the mall, and downtown Paducah. Fully equipped kitchen with a full sized refrigerator as well as coffee, tea, snacks and an assortment of soft drinks are available. Close to I-24 so you can pop in and out quickly!
