We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Studio

Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Brookside - fully updated 1950's home in Maydena

Brookside is a fully renovated 1950's cottage, in the beautiful Tasmanian wilderness township of Maydena. Biking and hiking groups, friends, families and couples will all enjoy staying in this beautiful home. Bikers will love the super secure shipping container for storing and working on bikes. Everyone will love relaxing on the deck, or by the fire after a busy day. We have the perfect location to base yourself to explore the Maydena bike park and the beautiful nearby national parks.

Welcome to Merino Cottage, set on lake frontage with unbelievable rural views or as an escape , or paddle down the lake on complimentary kayaks. 4,000-acre merino sheep farm, our cottage offers unparalleled experience for those seeking serenity and connection with nature. In the heart of our 1,500-strong merino flock, lots of walks or just watch some of our 6000 sheep walk past your cottage or in the paddocks .We have great internet , lots of DVD's in the cupboard along with free WFI.

Modern house Maydena \ Mt Field \ Tyenna

Recently built, my self-contained house in Fitzgerald is modern and family-friendly. It is 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. I'm also less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

Huon Valley View Cabin near Cygnet

Private, self-contained cabin in the Huon Valley close to Cygnet (7 min), Bruny Island & Hobart (50 min), Hartz Mountain National Park & World Heritage Area (1 hr). Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view. Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

Rosendale Stables

Reconstructed sandstone barn set on working asparagus farm offers comfort and seclusion. Features expansive glass areas and generous verandah/pergola. The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park. On farm produce available in season in an area of growing culinary endeavour.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

Florentine Cottage is nestled in the heart of the small village of Maydena. A 1.5 hour drive from Hobart. The cottage is located less than 200m from the Maydena Bike Park base and 15min from Mount Field National Park. The cottage is cosy & comfortable fitted out with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If you share a love for the outdoors, hiking and mountain biking then Florentine Cottage is the place for you!
