Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

This Cottage offers self-catering for 6 and has been lovingly decorated using a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings to make guests feel right at home. Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

Centrally situated, self catering, wifi, DSTV, braai facilities. Bedrooms as follows: 1.Main House en-suite situated in the main house. 2. Studio 1, joined with internal access to main house. 3. Studio 2, separate from main house. 4. Garden Room, separate from main house. Three bedrooms have twin beds made into king beds on for couples ONLY. Garden Room has a queen bed. Studio 2 and Garden Room as separate rooms, will be used according to the number of guests and not automatically available.

Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the couch is big enough for a child to sleep on.
