High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

Welcome to Windcrest Loft! If you’re looking for a homey place to stay while visiting the mountains, this is it! Kids and pets are welcome too. Centrally located, within minutes to shops and restaurants in Dillsboro and Sylva, 10 mins to WCU and 20 to Franklin, Bryson City & Waynesville. Convenient Tuckasegee river access across the street and close to many hiking spots! When not touring the area, relax outdoors and enjoy the antics of our resident goats, donkeys, geese and chickens.

Located on a 125 acre private forestry managed property that backs up to Pisgah National Forest. Off grid glamping at its finest. Retreat to the mountains in this secluded white cottage on the farm. At our little white house, you’ll be able to gaze at the twinkling constellations while enjoying the fire pit, sit on the back porch and admire the Blue Ridge Parkway in the distance while listening to the creek, and live side by side with our farm’s prize-winning Brown Swiss cattle. *Please note the fireplace is not operational.
