Adventure Bay Beachside Apartment

Our beach house is situated directly across the road from the white sands of Adventure Bay. You will experience the most spectacular sunrises, looking out across Storm Bay and onto Tasman Island. Guests will lay in bed at night, where the only sound is the waves breaking on the beach below. Quiet Corner is a safe swimming beach (perfect for kids) and we have a local shop, all within a minute's walk from our front gate. This is a top floor, self contained apartment requiring stairs to access.

Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Bruny Island Hideaway

Only if I can show you how to be happy with little. It is simple and minimalistic, it is green and sustainable, it is so wild that you feel a million miles away from civilisation. Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Try stargazing and spot the Aurora. I enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of the place, but it's also special to share with company. 4WD is recommended.

An original beach shack, tarted up with your comfort in mind, it’s the perfect retreat for two. Walk across the lawn to a sandy swimming beach, enjoy sweeping water and mountain views, cosy up by the wood heater or fire pit (firewood supplied), and watch for wallabies at dusk—including the occasional rare white wallaby. Maxy’s is a 3 bedroom waterfront shack with open plan living, dining and kitchen area overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. It has a newly renovated, galley style kitchen plus bathroom including washing machine. There is a fireplace to keep you cosy and complete the ambiance. Maxys features a deck out the front to enjoy uninterrupted water views and it’s an easy stroll down the track to access the waterfront. Also within close proximity (1km) is Hotel Bruny, a local favourite.
