Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

This house was architecturally designed around the spectacular views of Lake Tinaroo and the rural landscape. With a modern country vibe you can choose to stay in and socialise with friends and family, or hit the water. Nightly price rates are based on 5-bedroom mainhouse (max 12). Two kids bunkrooms are also available to add at an extra cost.

Unwind in our peaceful self-contained guesthouse, set on 3 acres of tranquil greenery. Wake to the sound of native birdsong, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the chance to spot red-legged pademelons, striped possums and all the other wildlife surrounding the guesthouse. The guesthouse is private, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Cairns, Kuranda, Mareeba and the Atherton Tablelands.
