A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Havnemesterens hus i Tvøroyri på Suðuroy.

Dette hyggelige traditionelle færøske hus fra 1930 er placeret centralt i byen og i gåafstand til caféer og supermarkeder. Bussen kører direkte fra færgen til huset, så det er ikke nødvendigt at have en bil med. Sengelinned og håndklæder med i prisen. Huset har ikke udendørsareal, men er perfekt, hvis du vil bruge det som base eller bare vil slappe af i Tvøroyri. Suderoy er den sydligste ø på Færøerne og har mange smukke steder, hvor man kan vandre. Fester, høj musik og rygning er ikke tilladt.

A special place to stay in the heart of Tórshavn. Sleep under a grass roof in the car-free area of Reyn: the old town quarter by the harbour - a short walk to the main restaurants, bars, shops, bus terminal and ferry port. You can’t get more central than this! The Haven is simple but charming, nestled among other historic houses in this conservation area. Upstairs, via some steep steps, is the cosy bedroom. When it rains, the gentle sound of raindrops on the turf roof will lull you to sleep.

Small, bright and cosy apartment in a quiet neighbourhood in the heart of Torshavn with everything you need for a great stay. It is centrally located within walking distance from restaurants, cafés, shopping & cultural experiences. The apartment has a large private terrace, one bedroom, living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with heated floor, shower and washer. There is public parking right outside the front door, where you can park up to 8 hours for free.

Her kan du roligt læne dig tilbage og slappe af i vores unikke og rolige sommerhus. Huset blev bygget i 1920, men er netop blevet nyrenoveret. Nyd den flotte havudsigt fra næsten alle vinduer. Placeringen er central. Den lokale købmand ligger 250 m fra huset, og 30 m fra huset ligger kajen, hvor der er mulighed for at fiske. Der er 4 værelser, 2 større og 2 mindre. Tilsammens er der 7 sovepladser. Kun 10 min kørsel til fodboldhal, svømmehal, café’er og resturanter.

Hytte i Húsavík, Sandoy

Næsten 200 år gammelt fredet stenhus i den i historiske bygd Húsavík på Sandoy. Du bor tæt på naturen i et gammelt traditionelt færøsk stenhus med græs på taget, vægge af træ og træ- og stengulve. Huset er i en længe, hvor du går igennem ’røgstuen’ (hvor sovepladsen er) ind i stuen (glasstuen). I røgstuen er der højt til loftet, mens der i stuen er lavere, med udsigt over havet. Badeværelse af ældre dato, og et lille køkken med nye elementer og opvaskemaskine.

Hyggeligt sommerhus på kanten til havet

Sommerhuset står helt tæt på havet med udsigt over fjorden, den nærliggende marina og Torshavn. Husets unikke placering gør det muligt at observere et varieret dyreliv af søfugle, enkelte sæle, fiskebåde, kaproningbåde og store cruisebåde helt tæt på. Dette lille hus er i 2 etager. I stueetagen er køkkenet og stuen samlet i et rum. På øvre etagen er soveværelset og badeværelset.

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

Peaceful boathouse with a view

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

A cozy little cottage on our farm in Kirkjubø. Well equipped kitchen and living room in one. A loft with double mattress. Hallway with closet, washer/dryer, and a bathroom. In the living room there is a double sofa bed, dining table, and TV. Equipped with all the necessities for a pleasant stay.
