No.2 West Layton Manor is part of an Historic Victorian Manor House built in 1872. The property provides the perfect setting for families and friends gathering for special occasions or holidays in beautiful North Yorkshire. Dating back over 150 years, this comfortable home retains many original features and has a cosy sitting-room with log-burner and recently refurbished shower room. There is easy access to various cafes, pubs, grocery stores and many independent shops whilst stunning scenery, including the famous Leyburn Shawl, is less than a five minute walk away.

With it's own fenced garden and hidden In the grounds behind The Old Star B&B, this newly renovated, centrally heated stone cottage is well away from the road. Upstairs is an open plan lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen with lovely views over the garden and Wensleydale. There are two spacious en suite bedrooms downstairs each with two beds. There is ample off street parking . The village has good amenities and is well placed for walking and touring the Yorkshire Dales.

The annexe also has ramped access so is suitable for less mobile guests. We are ideally positioned for visitors wishing to explore the area on foot, bike, bus, or car and there are a number of fabulous walks right from our door.
