The retreat garden is surrounded by pomegranate, lemon, and olive trees. Guests can enjoy a private preheated pool with jacuzzi (4.20 x 3.40 m, depth 0.90 m). The surrounding area is rich in ancient history, with many gorgeous beaches, gorges, and archeological sites to visit.

Located 9 km from the city centre, 5 km from the Heraklion airport and 1 km from the Karteros beach, the villa is a unique destination for relaxation and easy access to many locations. Mandarini House is located at Choclakies,a small village 10 km (8min drive) from Palekastro on the way to Zakros.It was built in 1935 and fully restored in 2019.In this small village live 12 people and its at the heart of Sitia ‘s UNESCO Global Geopark.The starting point to pass through the gorge and get at the Karoumes beach is here.
