Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Welcome to Lake Almanor West! We hope you enjoy the beauty, peace and abundant fun available at the lake house. Lake Almanor is an aquatic paradise with water sports, fishing, beautiful nature trails, amazing mountain views and breathtaking sunsets from your deck or the beach. The home has its own dock and buoy. You have access to a boat launch, 9 hole golf course, beach, recreation center, restaurant and sports courts at Lake Almanor West Country Club which is within walking distance.

Cozy Boho Cottage

Our little cottage is just right for a couple, or single guest who wants a relaxing space for exploring Chester and surrounding areas. We have a full kitchen. The bathroom & shower is small. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, and a TV. The living room has a 50 inch TV. The main source of heat is a wood stove (wood is provided) we also have 2 portable heaters. The house is small and only 500 sq ft. It is located in the back, behind another house. Parking area is in front of the cottage.

Enjoy your own private dock with kayaks & stand-up paddle boards in the summer, or relax by the log-burning fireplace in the winter. Take in the views from the expansive deck with it's BBQ, and gas firepit. As part of the Lake Almanor Country Club, you'll have access to the community summer concerts, sandy beaches, tennis/pickleball/basketball/bocce courts, boat launches, and golf course.

This is the place where kids forget about their IPADS and phones. Boat Dock is removed from Nov 1st to April 1st do to winter/snow conditions. Sorry for the inconvenience

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Located in the heart of Chester a small town on the edge of Lake Almanor. Come and enjoy a truly unique experience and stay at the apartment above the future home of Waganupa Brewing. This great space is located in what used to be a local antique store and the whole Airbnb has been designed to flow with the style of the era in which the building was built.
