The Havana Cabana is your home away from home. Take time to breathe and just be by soaking in your surroundings and being with the people that matter most. We strive to provide you with a relaxing atmosphere and great amenities. You will have full access to your own private, sandy beach (directly behind the home) with amazing sunset views and great fishing. We provide 3 adult kayaks, one double and one child (under 150 pounds), and a pedal boat. Great outdoor fire-pit for s’mores and memories.

Freedom - The hopeful path

Our home is from the Victorian era on the southern most point of Lake Springfield. It was completely lost to fire in 1991, and rebuilt. It is spacious, 5000 square feet on two sprawling acres with park like arbors and trees. Freedom is a private bedroom that celebrates the varied paths taken to be free; a queen size bed, antique German armoire for hanging clothes, desk/chair. Symbols of freedom are on display. The Airbnb cleaning and sanitizing protocol is used to keep the area guest ready.

Locaton is a half mile from town with many local businesses and restaurants. You have access to a beautiful scenic pond with wonderful sunsets, pond is stocked with small and large mouth bass, hybric bluegill, and channel catfish. Golf cart access is included to get to and from the pond. You will have access to the beach, fishing is free, gun range also included upon request. Plenty of room for parking with a new circle driveway for easy access.

Lake Shelbyville Home with a View

Home sits on 62.5 acres next to Lake Shelbyville, one of Illinois largest lakes, overlooking Country Club Cove. Airbnb unit is 40 yards from waters edge with natural walking paths down to the lake. Public boat launches, and 2 parks are 7-10 minutes drive from the property. The north entrance to the Dacey Trail bike and walking paths are 1/4 mile from the property entrance. Horseback riding on the property is allowed with prior approval only.
