Skylark Seaview Studio

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

The cottage is set in the grounds of the main house with it’s own drive and parking, garden and small patio. Ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling and sightseeing and the tranquility of the countryside. Explore the many beautiful beaches and castles in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. The train station in Berwick has regular trains to Edinburgh (approx 45 mins) and Newcastle (approx 50 mins). A car is essential for getting about as we are 4 miles from Berwick (the nearest town).

The garden is safe for pets and fully fenced. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Cheswick Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in Northumberland. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick, venturing to the Edinburgh Festival or visiting Holy Island. Our local pub is a 10 minute drive in Norham.

The Black Triangle Cabin

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

This delightful, well equipped house on two floors is set back from the road in a quiet courtyard, with a parking space just outside the door. It is only a walk of 10 minutes to the delightful, sandy beach at Spittal with its fine promenade and just 10 minutes' walk to Berwick Old Bridge – the gateway to this fine historic town, with its many places of interest, fine restaurants and charming independent shops on Bridge Street.
