Croeso (welcome) to North Wales, Gilfach is a cosy 1 bedroom self-contained annex situated 2 miles from the market town Dolgellau in the footfalls of Cader Idris mountain in the Snowdonia National Park. Created just for two we hope you enjoy your home away from home while you’re visiting the beautiful mountains. We are ideally located for mountain walking, mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin, beach days at Barmouth & Fairbourne and outdoor thrill activities at many attractions including Zip World.

Due to our spectacular location we are perfectly suited to those seeking adventure. A cosy, self contained apartment, just 20 minutes from the foot of Snowdon. A mere 5 minutes from Europe’s longest and fastest zip line at Zip-World and 30 minutes from the beautiful island of Anglesey. The property sleeps 4; Consisting of a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area. It has a fully functional kitchenette with small dining area. We are dog friendly and welcome house trained dogs.

Small self contained SELF CATERING annex attached to owner's farmhouse with it's own private entrance and outside seating area on working family cattle farm. Good base for guests who enjoy the outdoors, hiking, walking, etc. Yr Wyddfa/ Snowdon is approx 45mins drive from our farm. Good base for Zip World, Tree Tops adventure at Betws y Coed being 4 miles from our farm with coasts of Llandudno, Conwy and RSBP bird centre approx 20 miles from farm. Car is essential due to location. Sorry no pets.

Our place is perfect for couples, small groups or families. We have one large living space with wood burning stove, comfortable seating, kitchen counter with amenities and dining area. Through the large windows you will have an excellent view of the top of Moel Hebog. Above this is a balcony with a double bed and a bathroom.

Our guest suite is ideally situated for those who wish to explore North Wales’ beautiful and picturesque mountains and coastal areas as well as experience adrenalin busting adventures such as the zip line, quarry karts and quarry flyer at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A spacious 1 bed annex with large living/kitchen dining area, the property is within 5 minutes walk from the town, castle, restaurants, Galeri etc. and 2 minutes away from Lon Las cycle track. The annex has an upstairs bedroom which has a comfortable king sized bed and an en-suite shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher. Utility room has washing machine and there is also a downstairs toilet. Plenty of on street parking available.

Great location for exploring nearby seaside village of Rhosneigr and surrounding beautiful beaches. On route for visiting Anglesey Circuit. The studio has a very comfortable super king size bed that can be separated into two single beds .(Please advice of your requirements). Shower room with underfloor heating.
