The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

The Apple Shed @ Rose Cottage

The Apple Shed is a luxury stay in the heart of North Yorkshire, easy driving distance to Ripon, Thirsk, Harrogate & York. We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways.

Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.

Enjoy staying at our charming Georgian cottage in leafy Roundhay, a 10 minute car ride from the centre of Leeds. There are original features, a wood burning stove, Aga and is within walking distance of Roundhay Park, cafes, bars and restaurants. Pear Tree Barn, York 5m, Village Location

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
