The Songbird | Waterfront Escape

Linen-draped interiors, a flickering fire, and an antique outdoor bath invite you to pause. Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

Glaziers Bay Cottage near Cygnet

Glaziers Bay Cottage is a colonial style building with modern facilities. It features 2.7m ceilings, walk in robe, open plan living area and kitchen. Ten minutes from Cygnet with magnificent views of vineyards, the Hartzview mountains, and the Huon River. Cereals, free range eggs, bread, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee included for a DIY breakfast. Please note : I'm really sorry but one night bookings are not viable so I have a two night minimum booking.

Guests will be provided with local food and a bottle wine for the first night of your stay.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
