This site has a fully fenced area to ensure your privacy and deny access to the farm animals. Inside your fenced area you will be able to relax with nap in the hammock, enjoy a meal outside, read a book under the oak trees, tell stories around the fire pit, or take a walk on a meandering nature trail. The Carter house has a lot of charm and character. Gas lanterns adorn either side of the beautiful front door, upon entering you are greeted with elegance beginning with a crystal chandelier that drops through the ceiling from the cozy library upstairs. The main floor has a TV area with a big sectional, dining table, gas fireplace, full size kitchen, bathroom, laundry and kids bunk room. There are 3 bedrooms each room having its own private entrance.

School House Retreat

This schoolhouse is newly remodeled to offer a peaceful retreat from normal life. Enjoy getting away from reality and enjoying the peace of the prairie, watching horses interact and being away from it all. We are on 70 acres out of town about 7 miles. It’s a perfect retreat and in September we will have added a loft with 6 twin beds making it the perfect hunting lodge.

Enjoy a garden level apartment in the lower level of our home, with private entrance and off street parking. Quiet, cozy, clean and comfortable. You are welcome to relax in the back yard with small pond and firepit, shady trees and wildflowers (minus flowers and shade in winter of course). The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.
