Charming 17th century former Coaching Inn overlooking beautiful open countryside. Sleeps 8-12. Large modern open plan kitchen with open fire, traditional snug with wood-burner, large patio and garden, fire-pit, pickleball court, swings. An inn has existed at this crossroads for centuries. The building dates back to the 1600s. We sensitively restored the property in 2021 conserving the lime-washed walls and beams and creating a light and spacious living area. Sole use of 3 acre field.

Our place is a self-contained studio flat on the edge of a little town. There is an excellent vegetarian cafe and health food shop 2+ minutes walk away. The town itself is bustling but relaxed with a friendly atmosphere. The river and castle are ten minutes walk away. The area is rich for places of outstanding natural beauty Our house is three hundred years old and has a lot of history. It stands just above the town and has some beautiful views over the valley. The cottage has been restored in an open-plan style to a very high standard in traditional ways using local materials, at its centre is a large wood stove. There are places for picnics on the farm and plenty of quiet walking routes around the area.
