It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

We have a range of produce to offer guests to cook in the hut or on the bbq outside and a farm shop selling our ciders, meat and local produce. There are great pubs, breweries and restaurants in the locality to enjoy plus cycle routes and walks for all abilities with stunning views of the Dorset countryside

The Tallet is opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

The self-contained one bed cottage offers a peaceful countryside stay with a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room with a wood-bur ner, and private outdoor patio. Guests have exclusive use of the entire annexe throughout their stay. There is also additional accommodation available within the main house, as well as a glamping hut (see our separate listings).

The house of the other Thomas Hardy - writer of many English classics - is 6 miles away and open for public viewing. The farm sits on the old Roman Road with Roman burial grounds, Jurassic coast and seaside resort of Weymouth within easy reach as well as the Isle of Portland whose stone built London!
