This pond-side cottage is a peaceful place to relax & unwind. Sit in the sunroom and enjoy watching the birds & the water or enjoy the front porch rockers where you can listen to the birds & frogs. We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter & 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens, Poinsett State Park & Congaree Nat. Park. It's only 2 hrs to Myrtle Beach or Charleston & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it's conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to relax.

Please come and enjoy our Guest Apartment in Florence, SC! A great stop for travelers to rest during their trips. Guests will have a private entrance to the apartment that is attached but separate from the main house, where my family and I live. Guest privacy will always be respected. One bedroom has a queen size bed, a second bedroom has a single. The bathroom has a tub and shower. The kitchen has a stove/oven. The apartment is cleaned and sanitized after each guest leaves. Private carriage house sitting adjacent to the most historic estate home in the lovely town of Society Hill. Separate entrance for guests which accommodates large horse trailers.
