(Edit 22/12/25: Unfortunately we were affected by the recent fires in Dolphin Sands. Our block was burned, but the Lighthouse itself was saved by firefighters. 'The Edge' is situated in Binalong Bay, right in the heart of the stunning Bay of Fires conservation area on Tasmania's East coast. A quiet peaceful retreat, it sits right on the edge of the tranquil Grants lagoon and a lovely lagoon-side walk takes you to the beaches the area is famous for. The open plan space is warm and bright, receiving all day sun. Beautiful views over the water and surrounded by a large sundeck and a semi tropical garden - The Edge is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

Beachfront couples getaway

Kalinda is a beachfront log cabin style home, with cathedral ceilings and a loft bedroom, with the amazing Four Mile Creek Beach on your doorstep. It is the perfect location to explore what Tasmania's East Coast has to offer, from The Bay of Fires, down to Bicheno and everything in between. The space is set up with couples in mind to relax and enjoy the beachfront atmosphere in a cozy accommodation, with beautiful gardens and bird life a plenty.

Muka in Akaroa.

Muka in Akaroa. A quiet little surf shack set on the edge of Akaroa, in a sleepy cul-de-sac just minutes away from Beer Barrel beach and Peron Dunes. Built back in '72 a once seafoam green shack has undergone a loving restoration. Keeping some nostalgic touches, the barn doors and surfboard were made using the old bunk beds from the original shack, a light and airy space has been created to entertain friends and family, a home away from home.
