A perfect base to explore the salt marsh coast with its extensive walks Maldon is only a short drive away which is a buzzing coastal town

The Castle Hedingham Hideaway

Our Hideaway is a secure retreat for couples of all ages. It's situated inside our large private gated garden(no steps) Guests can relax with a drink on the patio whilst taking in the amazing garden and spectacular woodland setting. Lovely country walks. Centrally located in Bishops Stortford, it is under 5 minutes’ walk to the train station and bus stops and 10 minutes to the High Street. Bishops Stortford, a Hertfordshire market town, has convenient train links to London Liverpool Street (38 minutes), Stansted Airport (9 minutes) and Cambridge (30 minutes) and close to the M11 junction 8.

There are further outdoor seating areas in the Herb Garden and Hedge Box, where you can take in the expansive skies, Suffolk is renowned for. We are only a 30 min drive from the glorious Suffolk Coast where we have a traditional Beach Hut that is available for hire in Old Felixstowe.

Squirrel - 1 bedroom cabin

Squirrel cabin is a luxury glamping 1 double bedroom cabin. Squirrel cabin can comfortably sleep 2 people but also has the capacity to sleep up to 4 upon request. The cabin contains a lounge and dining area, a kitchen area, a shower room and a W.C. The cabin is situated in the heart of Essex countryside and by a peaceful lake. The cabin has it own garden with a bubbling hot wood fired hot tub for you to enjoy! We have 5 cabins in total and are located on an arable farm. Postcode CB10 2XG.

The Pickers' Lodge

Based on the outskirts of Chelmsford this unique cabin sits on a working fruit farm. It offers a peaceful setting to work from or relax in which overlooks a small plum orchard. Just a short walk away you can pick up supplies from Lathcoats Farm Shop or use The Bee Shed Coffee House for breakfast or lunch. The Picker's Lodge offers a kettle, toaster, microwave and everything you need for something quick and easy in the evening or visit a local pub or restaurant, plenty to choose from!

Sofa and full kitchen inside. We are surrounded by lovely countryside. But also only a 10 minute walk into Long Melford. Which has lots of pubs and restaurants. The lodges are our own design. You will not find anything like them in the country. Totally unique. You can fish the lake. Or swim in it.
