Casa Bubbles is a great place for conscious travellers who want to explore Ericeria and the ocean, but would rather stay away from noise and crowds... The mood of the house is chill, relaxed and mellow, the closest beach is 15 minutes walk, Ericeira centre is 30 minutes away on foot, 5 minutes driving- it works better if you have a car. In 2025 Casa Bubbles has been awarded with the Biosphere Sustainable Label in recognition of the efforts taken to minimise the environmental impact of tourism.

The Pool Pavilion is a cosy and relaxed two suites and kitchen space that overlooks a lush garden and is the ideal choice for a joyful and relaxing getaway. Appointed to a high standard with simple yet sophisticated materials, such as micro cement flooring , stucco walls and linen curtains, and decorated in soothing natural colours, it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Large patio doors lead out onto a spacious, private garden with wood decking, a heated pool, sun loungers and table.

Casa da Encosta - Hillside cabin near the sea

Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.
