Hepscott is a quiet pretty village two miles south of Morpeth. There is easy access from both the A1 and the A19. Morpeth is an attractive busy market town with ample shopping, dining and drinking establishments. Nearby there are beautiful beaches and historic castles. Northumberland is an ideal destination for walkers and cyclists. Here at Hazel Cottage we can offer secure storage for bicycles and free parking. Morpeth railway station is close by with regular trains from London and the north.

Nearest pub 5 miles, restaurant 5 miles, shop 5 miles. Public transport (bus) 2 miles away.

Longsands Hideaway offers a little pocket of peace amongst all the action. A 5-minute stroll from Tynemouth Front Streets array of boutique shops, restaurants, bars and the weekend Flea Market at the Victorian Station. A beautiful, modern and tastefully converted stone barn retaining much of its original character and charm. The Granary is one of 3 holiday cottages converted from the former farm buildings of Bog Mill. Bog Mill is no longer a working farm. All three cottages are completely self contained with each cottage having their own individual garden areas, parking areas and garden furniture. The cottages do not overlook each other or share any facilities.
