This idyllic recently renovated fisherman's cottage has a large terrace and spectacular views out to sea. You couldn’t be any closer to the sea without getting wet! The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. Springfield Cottage is a few steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historic town on Dartmoor. One of oldest properties in the town, it is a warm and welcoming house full of period features dating back to medieval times, including a large inglenook fireplace. A small frontage with lots behind! It has all modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate wet-room style shower room with under-floor heating. Off-road parking (better suited to small to mid sized cars).

Beautiful Dartmoor house, idyllic moorland setting

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.
