Built in the 1700s beside the river, this cosy little cottage is full of rustic character. Expect a warm welsh welcome both at the cottage and from the friendly village. Take a bracing wild water dip! Ideally situated for walkers and wildlife lovers 7 miles from the Brecon Beacons N P and 19 miles from Gower’s stunning beaches. Log Cabin at Oakfield House, Pyle - Greystones

We offer the exclusive use of one our log cabins - this cabin has been newly refurbished and is set within the boundaries of our small holding in a rural area. The cabins are perfectly located just 1.5 miles from junction 37 on the M4. We are within 2 miles of Margam Park and only a 10 min drive to the coastal town of Porthcawl. We are a 35 min drive from the beautiful beaches of the Gower, and a 30 min drive to the new Tower zip line. We have free WiFi and linen and towels are included.

The accommodation is a self contained en-suite accommodation in a quiet semi rural location. It has a large private balcony to the rear of the property which is a perfect sun trap overlooking ancient woodland . Here you can relax while listening to the sound of the water running in the brook below. There is also a separate private patio area on the ground floor for al-fresco dining together with a BBQ for guests use. There is secure storage for cycles and other equipment on the ground floor.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Please note, no cooking facilities are provided but we do have bowls, plates, glasses etc.
