En stor drøm i et lille tårn.

Tårnet blev bygget i slutningen af 1800-tallet af en berømt englænder, Sir John Temple Leader, i et af de ældste og vigtigste stenbrud, der tilhørte Medici-familien. Fra samme stenbrud blev der udvundet mange vigtige værker såsom søjlerne i Medici-kapellet, trinene i Laurenziana-biblioteket ... alt sammen kun 5 km fra det historiske centrum af Firenze.
