Little Knoll Barn is a rustic, cosy, self catering accommodation, offering a king size bed, guest robes, slippers, travel cot & hi chair if required. For pets, 2 maximum, we provide a water bowl, dog towel & disposal bags. We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.

Ashwell has a wealth of architecture with a 14th century church & museum, freshwater springs, 3 pubs, shops & galleries.

Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. There are many countryside walks and cycle paths running from the house yet the A1M is minutes away. A PET CONSIDERED BY REQUEST ONLY BEFORE BOOKING (£20 per week)

It provides: - Fully equipped kitchen, with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. - Dining/sitting room area with table, 2 chairs and large comfy sofa. - Beautifully tiled bathroom with shower - Gas central heating - Fully enclosed patio area with table and 2 chairs - Sofa bed for 3rd guest. £20 charge if required when only 2 guests.

There's a variety of takeaways including Indian, Chinese as well as fish and chips. The house is positioned on the edge of Oughtonhead Common, a beautiful, peaceful nature reserve. A walk alongside the River Oughton offers the chance to spot wildlife and relax at the end of the day.

Traditional Mongolian Yurt, beautifully furnished complete with a wood burning stove to keep you warm even in mid winter. Secluded position in private grounds beside a peaceful lake teeming with ducks, geese, swans, you may even see our kingfishers. It contains a simple kitchen, and there's a private bathroom with basin, proper loo and hot shower very close by.
