Our beautiful and secluded countryside retreat at the start of the Brecon Beacons is perfect for those looking to escape from the city for few days, or use as a base to hike the Brecon Beacons. The loft apartment has fantastic views of Skirrid and the Black Mountains, alongside it's modern and comfortable interior, with plentiful hiking and countryside exploration on your doorstep. Feel at peace hearing just the birds and farm animals as you sip your morning coffee, then head out and explore!

The Byre @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Byre, with two double bedrooms and The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with double sofa bed downstairs. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

An ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor pursuits. Self contained with private garden and suitable for two adults. The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.
