Romantic Getaway in North Carolina, Double Queen

The Carlotta room, at our North Carolina romantic getaway, is designed in a bold shade of pink and honors the “Queens of Soul” that stayed with us when in town. Icons like Tina Turner, Lena Horne, and Gladys Knight this room design reflects their powerfully feminine spirit. Our Boutique Hotel is one of maybe four Green Book sites in North Carolina still in operation and housed some of our nation’s most well-known African Americans during segregation.

The Inn at Southport is a 1950s motel in the heart of Southport, just five blocks from the waterfront, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Room 6 is newly renovated. The room features 2 double beds, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, a microwave & coffee maker. The private en-suite bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. While updated, this is a 1954 motel and retains much of the charm of the day! The room is 144 sq Ft.
