With its pretty white washed exterior and walled cottage garden the house sits to the side of the historic 13th century St George Church. Putsborough beach a 2 mile stretch of sand is a 1.4 mile drive down a country lane or a 25 minute walk across fields. Croyde village is 1.6 miles drive The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving fine pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

Only 10 minute's drive from Barnstaple and 20 from Ilfracombe, with beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough, too. Just a short drive and you will have access to Saunton beach and Croyde beach. We welcome your pets to enjoy a holiday too. We love this cottage and we know you will too. The garden side is separate from the house however is delightful to sit and enjoy a lovely sundowner.

The Retreat is surrounded by all the things we love. A 5 minute walk from Croyde village, Croyde beach and a 15 minute walk to Putsborough beach. We hope that you maybe able to park your car on arrival and not need to use it again during your stay. Access up the lane next to the house to wonderful panoramic walks and views of Baggy Point. We hope its a perfect place to rest those sandy feet and unwind after a full day of sea air.
