You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Welcome to “The Hemlock” cabin One of two unique cabins on the property. A unique stay situated minutes from historic Perth, Ontario. The Hemlock sits on 160+ acres of private, natural forest. Enjoy 3 season lake access for kayaking & canoe. Year round trails for hiking, snow shoeing, exploring etc. Beautiful scenery and wildlife in a peaceful, private setting, relax and unwind by the fire! We look forward to having you! The Bonne Chere

Immersed in forest along the shore of the Bonnechere River, New Frontiers offers comfortable three-season camping in our cozy domes. Walk the forest trails, paddle on the river, stare at the stars, and watch the wildlife outside your window. Enjoy nature from the privacy of your own little "domicile". Your dome is fully equipped with a bathroom, complete with shower and compositing toilet. Climb the ladder to a king-sized loft bed under the stars. Make a fresh breakfast in the kitchenette.

Rolling Rapids Retreat

Listen to the sound of the gentle rapids and birds singing as you reacquaint yourself with nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock. Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is designed for couples or solo travellers.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
