Beautiful Cottage with Suntrap Garden

The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

Cwmclyn Canol is a quiet and cozy cottage inside the Bannau Breicheniog National Park with a pub within walking distances and footpaths directly onto Pen Y Fan. The cottage was refurbished in 2022 to a high standard and boasts magnificent mountain views. Additional views include waddling ducks, squabbling chickens and honking geese. Good wifi, TV/DVD, films and a box of games. Kitchen has plenty of everything and there is a log burner in the living room as well as a firepit outside.

This one bedroom cottage consists of one double bed, one single bed and also has one very comfy sofa! A short walk away, the village of Whitney-on-Wye offers a riverside pub, canoeing and gourmet shop/café. Walking paths weave through the property and are easily accessible. In addition to numerous area activities including hiking and canoeing, the estate offers salmon fishing beats which are available for guests.

We have direct access onto the Monmouthshire/Brecon canal and the cycle path which is ideal if your bringing a furry friend with you as we are super dog friendly

The en-suite has a bath & shower. We are happy for you to bring your lovely pets, the outdoor private area for the cottage is not fully enclosed sadly but we do have a paddock you can use and there are plenty of fab dog walking/swimming spots locally.
