Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Bananas, blueberries, figs, pomegranates and a cornucopia of other organic edibles may just be ready for you to sample off the tree, and 2km down the road there is the most beautiful white sand beach where you can swim, spearfish, snorkel or just relax. Situated close to Parua Bay village and Whangarei Heads offering heaps to do, or if you prefer to just chill in the cabin, you have complete privacy for that.

Welcome to the FlaxPod! Set on 7 acres and just a 2 minute drive from town, this special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This property is home to highland cattle, pigs, sheep and two very friendly dogs. We welcome your dogs too! Please note, this property is not fully fenced and there is a large pond which may not be suitable for small children.
