Converted in 2017 from a small barn (circa 1850), the self-contained studio combines character with tasteful furnishings. TOTAL REFURBISHMENT MAY 2025 with new kitchenette and flooring . Separate from the main house and with security gates and 24 hour CCTV, it provides parking, an outdoor seating area and views over the paddock of sheep and free ranging chickens. Upton is a small village,two miles from Southwell, with country walks and a local pub serving freshly prepared food.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Available for single night stays.

The house is located in a quiet street with the river Witham right next to it. Your space has a private entrance, dedicated parking, and is fully equipped with all you need to have a relaxing stay. The private garden is fully fenced and is pet safe. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the river right outside watching swans flying by. Have a walk to the South Common (5min), Boultham Park(15m) or the city centre(25m) and finish your day in front of the fire pit.
