Welcome to our cottage on the lake! We renovated this home through the spring of '18 and are so thrilled to have it ready for you! Sitting less than 30-feet from the sandy bottom of Bass Lake, this house is a charmer in all seasons. In the winter months, enjoy snowshoeing across the lake and come home to a cozy fire. The property is surrounded by state land and trails, perfect for hiking, kayaking, side by sides, and snowmobiling. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic condiments. Enjoy beautiful Stoney Point! Bike and walk quiet country roads through woods, fields, and orchards with surprising views of Grand Traverse Bay. A small local park is 1/2 block away with great vistas, swimming and an easy kayak launch. Suttons Bay with its beaches, marinas, restaurants and unique shops is a 3 mile ride along the shore. Enjoy a quick bike ride into town to access the Leelanau trail. Visit nearby orchards, wineries, Fishtown and Sleeping Bear Dunes/National Lakeshore.

Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .
