The Pink Chalet on the LAKE

The Chalet, on the shores of Lake Eucumbene is an ideal location from which to be based in summer or winter, & water or land type adventures. The Lake has year round trout fishing & the rivers/streams are seasonal. Water access is convenient with a boat ramp only 500m away . The property has enclosed yard for car & average sized boat. Selwyn snowfields are 40 mins away & Thredbo/Perisher are 1 hr travel time. See the historic ruins of Kiandra, Yarrangobilly caves/Thermal pool, Alpine hikes.

The hospital is less than a km away. In 2019, I transformed an empty space into a spacious, comfortable unit providing all you need for a seamless stay. It has a large kitchen with centre island bench, and a lounge/dining area opening onto a sunny courtyard. It’s perfect for short or long stays.

It is a well-designed property to take advantage of the seasons. It will be warm in winter if the curtains are kept open during the day and cools down lovely in summer if you open it up at dusk to let the fresh breeze in that arrives in Canberra then.
